Midwifery Lab

The nursing midwifery lab is a specialized facility dedicated to preparing nursing students for the unique challenges and responsibilities of providing care during childbirth and the postpartum period. In this lab, students have the opportunity to practice and refine their skills in a simulated environment that mimics real-life birthing scenarios. Equipped with birthing simulators, models, and equipment, students learn essential midwifery skills, such as prenatal assessments, labor support, delivery assistance, and newborn care. They also develop effective communication and critical thinking skills required for providing compassionate and holistic care to women and their families. The nursing midwifery lab ensures that students are well-prepared to contribute to safe and positive childbirth experiences as they enter their nursing careers.
